Lost

Remember her

Her soft white skin,
Her mousey hair,
Her piercing laugh
Without a care,

Her sunshine smile,
That knowing grin,
Which showed such guile,
Such calm within,

Her pointed face,
Her almond eyes,
None could replace
A face so wise,

Her hour-glass hips,
Her warm, soft kiss,
Her gentle lips,
A moment’s bliss,

But now she’s gone.

And it’s your fault
You always feel
That this assault
Of cold, hard steel
Took her from you.

An accident
They always say,
A tragedy
Took her away.

Fate, God’s will,
Karma, Bad Luck,
Who cares? She’s gone,
Who gives a fuck
How they explain
What happened then?
Still there’s the pain
Of your lost friend.
