The Big Night

Tonight is the opening night of my exhibition, which has been organised with typical mexican apathy. In fact, the photos aren't even up yet, and I'm sitting in a cafe awaiting a phone call to tell me when they'll be ready for me to help them get it all sorted. I've got forty photos going in now, and hopefully at least three men and a dog will turn up to the opening tonight. Actually that's a little pessimistic, I know that a few people will be there, including some of the really cool people I met at the beach, who turned out to live pretty close. In fact, I'm going to the beach again with them this weekend, so it should be good - I can drown my sorrows tonight with the few people who do come to my show, and then go and bake it off with a few mates.

Not that much has happened since my last post. I had to renew my visa, which ended up with me taking about a week of work, firstly going to the beach where I met the aforementioned Colima students, then going to get my visa in Guadalajara, coming back for one day's work, then going back to Guads again, and then finally to Colima to see them again (albeit a slightly spur of the moment visit) and then finally back home. I've been back to work this week though, more getting my exhibition all sorted than journalism.

Aside from that, not too much to report, so tara for now!
