I’m getting bad at this…

Once again, it appears that it has been a very long time since I last pos­ted! I would say it’s because my life is too excit­ing, but it’s actu­ally a mix­ture (about 90–10) of being incred­ibly lazy and hav­ing too much work. Per­haps it’s 95–5… That said, I have done quite a bit of work, although by my lik­ing not really enough; I really need to be earn­ing more. I should stop pay­ing tax soon though, so that’ll boost my earn­ings a bit.

One inter­est­ing thing I have done recently is take some great pho­tos, but unfor­tu­nately, due to copy­right, I’m not entirely sure whether I can put them on the site yet! They were of an exhib­i­tion at a gal­lery in Bris­tol called Arnol Fini. The exhibiton (more of a show really) was called Migrate and was basic­ally two blokes in their box­ers paint­ing Henna on each other and them­selves. There was some pre­ten­tious guff about how the fact that one was black and one was white was break­ing down bound­ar­ies between con­cep­tions of races. It’s a load of rub­bish, i think, but it was still quite an inter­est­ing and ori­ginal idea, and made for some good shots. I got pulled out half way through by the same woman who had said that it was “abso­lutely fine” for me to take the pho­tos, to tell me that I couldn’t sell them. People should be more careul of what they say, because since I asked, I’m pretty sure I can sell them! Actu­ally, hav­ing said I can’t post them, I think I’m going to. I sent the woman an email about a week ago with a few attached, and say­ing that I’d print any they wanted if they covered my costs, and I haven’t heard back at all. Very rude!
